How do I register myself as a seller on BYFTU?
You simply need to fill out our seller form by clicking on the “Sell” option available on the Home-page.
Is seller registration free on BYFTU?
Yes, registration for sellers is free.
How will I receive orders?
BYFTU is an advertising platform. It enables buyers to contact the sellers. Once a buyer contacts a particular seller through BYFTU, they may communicate amongst themselves and make transactions outside of the BYFTU platform. BYFTU does not participate in the negotiations and transactions between the sellers and the buyers. It only enables sellers to advertise their respective products/ services to the buyers.
Can I register on BYFTU without providing GST number?
Yes, you can register on BYFTU without providing GST number since BYFTU is solely an advertising platform. Seller does not generate any invoices through BYFTU. Thus, GST is not mandatory to register on BYFTU.
However, a seller who is eligible for a GST number and has provided us the GST number is showcased as a verified seller on the BYFTU platform, thereby increasing the authenticity and footfall for the seller.
We request and encourage every seller to abide by the law and obtain a GST number in case their annual turnover surpasses Rs. 40 lakhs.
Can I list in different categories using the same personal details?
Yes, you may list yourself as a seller in a maximum of 4 categories using the same personal details, i.e., you can have 4 different active ads at any given point during the period of validity of your registration. There is no fee for listing in the first category of your choice, i.e., your first ad comes free with your registration. Thereafter, other 3 ads require a fee of Rs. 100/- per ad.
How many products can I list as a seller?
You may choose to list a maximum of 4 products in any particular ad.
Can I edit the ads I have already posted?
Yes, all ads posted by you can be edited at any time within your registration validity period.
What if I don’t have an FSSAI license?
BYFTU does not require food sellers to provide an FSSAI license as it is merely an advertising platform.
However, FSSAI license increases the authenticity and trustworthiness of the seller, thereby bringing him/ her more footfall. If you are a food seller and have an FSSAI license, you come across as a more reliable vendor than a food seller without FSSAI license. Hence, it is beneficial to obtain an FSSAI license for a food seller.
How do I get featured on the home-page?
You need to pay a certain fee per ad to feature as a seller on the home-page of BYFTU. Payment of this fee will feature you in the category to which that particular ad belongs.
How do I get the products delivered to the buyer?
You can get the products delivered to the buyer either by yourself, or request the buyer to pick the products up from your site, based on the understanding between you and the buyer.
Will my personal number be displayed on BYFTU?

How shall I contact a seller?
You may contact the seller either by calling them or by messaging them through the BYFTU platform. Every seller’s contact number is displayed right below their names in their individual ads. You can call them by simply clicking on the call button to and viewing their numbers. Alternatively, you may click on the message icon available next to the call icon to message them.
How do I wishlist a seller?
You may wishlist a seller by simply clicking on the “heart” icon available on the right- hand side corner of the particular seller’s ad. The wishlisted seller’s list will be available in your Wishlist section.
Are orders placed on BYFTU itself?
No, orders are not placed through BYFTU. BYFTU connects sellers with buyers by providing the contact information of the sellers to the buyers. The buyers may contact the sellers and communicate amongst themselves to place any order. BYFTU does not participate in the negotiations and transactions between the buyers and the sellers.
Does BYFTU provide delivery?
No, BYFTU does not provide delivery. Products may be either delivered by the seller to the buyer or may be picked up by the buyer from the seller’s location, depending upon the communication between the two.
What is the delivery time period?
The delivery time period depends upon every individual seller and is indicated against every seller on their individual ads. The seller and the buyer may also agree to a delivery date. BYFTU does not participate in any negotiations between the buyers and the sellers.
What if the seller does not fulfil delivery of the purchased product/ service?
BYFTU does not hold responsibility and liability for the ability of the sellers selling or supplying the goods or services to complete a sale or the ability of the buyers purchasing goods or services to complete a purchase. In case you have made the advance payment to the seller and the seller does not deliver the product/ service to you at all, or within the time promised by the seller to the buyer, BYFTU shall not be liable or accountable for such failure of delivery of the said product/ service on part of the seller.
What if there is a defect in the products bought or services availed?
BYFTU is not liable and responsible for, and does not control, the quality, genuineness, safety, lawfulness or availability of the products or services offered for sale by the sellers registered on the BYFTU platform. The buyer may communicate with the seller about any defect found in the product/ service provided by that seller.
Can I get refund for a defective product/ service?
BYFTU does not offer any refund with respect to the defective product/ service since no monetary transactions take place through BYFTU between the seller and the buyer. Thus, you may seek your refund from the seller itself.
How can I provide feedback about a particular seller on BYFTU?
